Welcome to this large Finnish chalet located in the village of Vars Sainte-Catherine.

Spread over 4 levels, the chalet offers more than 280 m² of space, making it ideal for large families and groups of friends who want to enjoy time together while still having plenty of room and privacy.

South-facing, the chalet enjoys open views over the Eyssina, the Écrins mountain range and the surrounding peaks.

SKI ACCESS

The chalet is located in Vars Sainte-Catherine, in a quiet residential area.

The free shuttle stop is approximately 100 metres away.

The shuttle reaches the first ski lifts in around 4 minutes and Vars Les Claux in around 8 minutes.

Shuttles run approximately every 15 to 20 minutes depending on weather conditions.

The chalet is located around 1 km from the first ski slopes and 4 km from Vars Les Claux.

PARKING

Parking for up to 4 vehicles is available at the chalet near the private footbridge.

Additional free parking is available on the street if required.

The chalet is spread over several levels and includes many staircases. Safety gates can be installed for young children if required.


Please note: during the interseason, the chalet is not kept heated. It may take approximately 3 days for the entire property to reach a comfortable indoor temperature.

The chalet is located around 50 metres from a childcare centre.

Here, you don’t have to choose between location and facilities: you are directly on the slopes while enjoying a heated indoor swimming pool, a huge south-facing terrace, a sauna, a gym and generous living spaces where everyone can find their own corner.

Ski-in/ski-out from the moment you wake up

True luxury in the mountains is also about making life easy.

From the chalet, you can head straight onto the slopes. When you return, leave your equipment in the ski room, complete with boot warmers, and step straight back into the comfort of the chalet.

This floor also features an area dedicated to relaxation and leisure, with a hot-stone sauna, gym with exercise bike, table football and a shower room.

The heart of the chalet: spending time together overlooking the slopes

The large, modern open-plan kitchen flows naturally into the living area and also provides direct access to the terrace.

Next to it, the lounge is the perfect place to gather after a day on the slopes. The fireplace and views over the pistes create the warm, welcoming atmosphere you expect from a true mountain chalet.

Picture long meals around the table, coming home after skiing and spending the evening by the fire… with the slopes right outside.

And behind the glass door… the swimming pool

This is one of Le Tamia’s defining features.

Directly accessible from the lounge, the heated indoor swimming pool provides a wonderful place to relax right at the heart of the chalet.

Two large sliding glass doors lead directly from the pool onto a superb 60 m² south-facing terrace.

Pool, terrace, sunshine and mountains blend seamlessly together.

And with no overlooking neighbours, you can enjoy your stay in complete privacy.

A 60 m² south-facing terrace

Fully furnished, this large terrace becomes an extra living space whenever the sun comes out.

Accessible directly from both the kitchen and the swimming pool, it is the perfect place to extend your time outdoors, soak up the sunshine and simply enjoy being in the mountains.

Peace and quiet on the upper floors

The bedrooms are located on the two upper floors, giving everyone the privacy they need.

The chalet has 6 bedrooms in total, each with its own television and hotel-quality bedding, offering excellent comfort and a restful night’s sleep after a day in the mountains.

And because you may occasionally need to stay connected, even on holiday, every bedroom also has its own desk. The chalet has Wi-Fi throughout, so anyone who needs to work during their stay has a quiet, private space without disrupting the rest of the family’s holiday.

One of the bedrooms on the top floor has its own private bathroom. Three additional shower rooms serve the sleeping areas, making the chalet particularly comfortable when several families are staying together.

And for the children: 40 m² all to themselves

This is likely to be one of the spaces they remember most from their holiday.

Among the 6 bedrooms is a huge 40 m² dormitory with a mezzanine, creating a real hideaway for children and teenagers.

With 4 bunk beds and a double bed, they have their own space to sleep, play and spend time together, while enjoying the same hotel-quality bedding.
